Course Prospectuses
During the Spring 2006 and Fall 2006 semesters, three Writing
Program curriculum committees, building on the learning outcomes in the
Unified Writing Curriculum, developed detailed prospectuses for each course,
including pedagogical principles, procedures, and requirements. These
prospectuses are intended to provide a guide for faculty teaching the
courses.
These prospectuses include proposals for re-numbering
and re-naming all Writing Program courses, to be listed on the online
schedule under 355: English Writing & Composition. All of these changes
would need to be submitted to and approved by the Writing Program Advisory
Committee, the Courses of Study committee, and the FASN faculty.
Assessment Plan
Prepared March 07 by Interim Director Jonathan Hall as
part of the General Education review process and Middle States process.
